As tiny humans we are programmed to the core, whether we like it or not. We get to know and understand the world around us through our parents eyes, our teachers eyes and many more role models. Our programming is embedded in us and most of the time we perceive our programming as utter truth.
It is so natural to us that we don’t even notice that we are able to question it.
This behavioral pattern can be noticed in your day to day life. Here are some examples of embedded programming in sentences you can use:
- I don’t like going to the gym.
- I’m not a competitive person.
- I don’t need therapy.
- I’m just not the courageous type.
The list goes on and on and on. What we don’t seem to realize is that unless we change our programming, it will keep running — silently, automatically, and often to our own detriment. In most cases it can limit us in achieving our destiny.
It is like we are casting spells on ourselves without even the slightest form of awareness.
We have become one with our rejection. We have caged ourselves by not paying enough attention. Fortunately, there is something you can do about it. That is why I have carefully selected my gems for you to deal with your automatic rejections one by one. Automatic rejections can occur in all subjects of your life such as health, career, finance etc. Choose an area of your life that feels stuck, frustrating, or unfulfilling and start questioning how you present yourself to people when it comes to this topic.
Are you speaking in favor of your objectives or are you speaking against yourself?
Take a look at this quote by Lao Tzu:
“Watch your thoughts, they become words;
Watch your words, they become actions;
Watch your actions, they become your habits;
Watch your habits, they become your character;
Watch your character, it becomes your destiny.”
Your thoughts create your words and they become your habits. So if you are speaking against yourself, you are already cancelling your chance to create these new habits. And most of the time it seems to go unnoticed. You are holding you back and only you can change it.
Some of the rejections can be rooted very deep, for instance because they are hiding behind the fear of failure or rejection or perhaps your conviction is trauma based. Because of that the automatic rejection can become more and more persistent. A dangerous thing. It may seem painful to look at, but not looking is already costing you more than you think. Looking it in the eye is where the release lies for you. So, if you’re willing to look into it, or maybe you’re just curious in reading about it to create awareness, you can scan this website for extra information.
Let’s explore the stories we tell ourselves — and start rewriting them!
